BIO
Galina Orlova is a Soprano living in the capital of California. She is Winner of Post-Graduate Division Award and she took First Place in San Francisco Bay Area - 2020 Spring NATS Classical Singers Competition.
Her repertoire spans from the Baroque into the Contemporary era.
Galina moved to California after studying and performing in her native Belarus. After graduating from music school as a pianist, she graduated from Minsk State Glinka Music College as a vocalist and a music teacher and then continued her education at the Belarusian State Academy of Music. It was a great experience to study with Professors such as Lydmila Kolos, Irina Baslyk, Adam Myrzich, Iraida Nagayeva.
Also, Galina had been living in Saint Petersburg, Russia, for 5 years. She participated in Christian concerts and festivals there.
Galina has moved to the USA in 2015. She studied at Folsom Lake College with Dr.David Newnham, then she completed the Mentorship & Vocal Repertoire Course with Professor Daniel Paulson at Sacramento City College.
Since infancy, she received the first musical skills from her mother. The recent death of her mother, and soon her father, she had to go through hard, but she dedicates her work to them. Now Galina is a graduate of Robin Fisher studio at The California State University of Sacramento.
Music is her destiny, and she opens her heart and soul, giving to others. Simultaneously, her command of acting lets her adapt to a very wide range of roles.
