East Rush

East has been involved with theater since he was 5 years old in 2011. His first musical theater role was in Seussical JR where he played various roles and then he was cast as Chip in Spark Theater Company's production of "Beauty and the Beast". Since then he has played Christopher in "Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime", Bill Sykes in "Oliver", Michael in "Mary Poppins", Adam in "Children of Eden", Kristoff in "Frozen", and many other lead and ensemble roles in musicals and plays.

East has been a member of Spark Theater's competing youth theater team since 2019. He has attended and performed at the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta, GA every year since as well as performed and competed at the Alabama Youth Theater Experience, the Alabama Conference of Theatre and many others. He has also participated in Summer Spotlight weeklong theater and musical theater intensive at Troy University in Troy, Alabama.
