Isabelle Cowan

Isabelle is currently a senior at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. She studies both musical theatre and classical voice with her teachers, Peg Cleveland of Carthage University and Lake Forest Academy and Melissa Foster of Northwestern University. She has also studied at Interlochen Arts Camp in the six-week vocal arts program with Dr. Ian Greenlaw of Millikin University. She is involved with theatre and choir at her school and was nominated for Illinois' All-State chorus two years in a row. Isabelle placed first in the Chicago chapter of NATS (National Association for Teachers of Singing) for sophomores in 2019 and placed third for juniors in 2020. Isabelle also has a deep passion for teaching voice, and currently teaches five young girls via Zoom. She loves empowering others through the confidence music can bring us. Isabelle is thrilled to be attending Northwestern University in September 2021 to study theatre.
