MacLean Blanner

MacLean is a current student in the School of Dramatic Arts at USC. She was raised in Saint Louis where she discovered her love of theatre. She has performed in over 100 theatre productions since her first show in 2009. Some of her favorite previous roles include Carrie White (Carrie the Musical), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family), Sibella (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Annabeth Chase (The Lightning Thief), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), and Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors). While MacLean loves performing onstage, she also loves working behind the scenes in theatre. One of her favorite theatrical accomplishments has been creating, producing, and directing at her own non-profit youth theatre organization, Debut Theatre Company. When a close friend was diagnosed with leukemia, MacLean founded Debut in 2016 to raise money for Saint Louis cancer research. Since her time founding Debut, MacLean has raised over $15,000 and learned about being a multi-hyphenate artist. She has worked with children of all backgrounds and abilities, and has learned about making theatre a more accessible space for differently abled performers.
