Brenda Hamilton

Brenda Jean Hamilton is a graduate student in vocal performance at Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University in Georgia, where she studies with Dr. Joshua May. She was most recently seen starring in Schwob Opera's production of The Light in the Piazza as Margaret. Brenda has been seen in national tours across the country as well as performing at many regional theatres. She has performed on Disney Cruise Lines and at the beginning of her career performed as a Radio City Rockette. Brenda runs a private voice studio outside of Atlanta, Georgia where she focuses on developing all aspects of students' voices, making all styles available to the singer. Although she specializes in belting and contemporary commercial music, Brenda also has extensive experience performing and teaching crossover/legit styles of singing. Brenda attended the Somatic Voicework institute at Baldwin Wallace University in 2017, and utilizes these principles in her teaching and her own voice practice.
