Christiana Goslin is a spunky soprano, avid language learner, and spontaneous dancer. This spring she performed an excerpt from Der Freischütz with OrchestraFlex under the baton of Ryan Turner at Pickman Hall (Cambridge, MA). Christiana recently plunged into the works of living composers. In Fall 2020, she performed the role of Noelle in Leanna Kirchoff’s micro-opera, Scrapbookers, as well as pieces by Angelica Negrón, Amy Beth Kirsten, Gilda Lyons, Alex Weiser, and Ruby Fulton. In the past, she played Miles in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw with Eastman Opera Theater (Kilbourn Hall, Rochester, NY) and performed in the chorus of Puccini’s La Rondine with Oberlin in Italy at Teatro Signorelli (Cortona, Italy). She earned her B.M. in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY), where she studied with Dr. Robert McIver and Kathryn Cowdrick. Christiana is now pursuing her M.M. in Vocal Performance at the Longy School of Music, where she studies with Angela Gooch. She has performed in masterclasses led by Lorraine Nubar, Håkan Hagegård, Gwynne Geyer, Dalton Baldwin, and Dario Vagliengo. She has also worked with directors Steven Daigle, Stephen Carr, Carol Mastrodomenico, Ari Pelto, and Lindsey Baker.
