Sukanya Scott

Sukanya is a mezzo-soprano, and attends Rider University as a first-year student in the musical theater department. She’s a 2019 William Warfield Scholarship recipient of the classical voice high school competition. Sukanya was a 5 year recipient of a Merit Scholarship Prep Program at Harlem School of the Arts. She received the Ella Fitzgerald Scholarship for the summer of 2020 from Harlem School of the Arts. Sukanya’s most recent credits was a featured singer at Joe’s Pub; with violinist, Majid Khaliq, Harlem Chamber Players, and a featured article in the Broadway World Magazine. Recent musical, ‘Jazzland’ directed by Tamara Tunie: opera 'Pirates of Penzance' directed by Mary Ann Swerdfeger. Sukanya would like to thank her family for their loving support and her vocal coach, Katherine Johnson.
