Emily Naud is a recent graduate of the Lyric Theatre program at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Most recently, she played Missy Miller in the Marvelous Wonderettes with Lyric Theatre at the Allerton Mansion in Monticello, IL. Her favorite past credits include The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Janet) with Illini Student Musicals, A Funny Thing....Forum with Illinois Theatre (Protean), and for a short time, Fredrika in A Little Night Music with Lyric Theatre @ Illinois (cancelled due to COVID-19). She is a trained pianist and has been playing for 11 years, and enjoys playing both pop songs and classical music. She is experienced in choral singing, both mixed and women's choirs, and has experience in acapella groups. In the fall of 2016, she attended the Interlochen Arts Academy as a post-graduate to study Vocal/Opera Performance with Dr. Laura Osgood Brown. She received Superior Distinction for monologues at the Michigan Thespian Festival in 2015 and received honorable mention in the Fall of 2020 for the NATS Upper College Musical Theatre Division.
