Asher has been performing in professional and regional musical theatre productions in the Chicago area since 2014, including performances as Boy Scrooge in A Christmas Carol with Chicago's prestigious Goodman Theatre, and as one of the three Spirits in The Chicago Lyric Opera's production of The Magic Flute. Asher is a Sophomore at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. He trains with Josefien Stoppelenburg (voice) and Melissa Foster (voice); Dance Center Evanston (ballet and tap); and performs in musical theatre productions at The Actors Training Center, The Performer's School and Interlochen Fine Arts Camp.
