In addition to earning 15 state bids for his vocal solos, groups, and jazz band performance in the WSMA solo and ensemble, he was awarded the Exemplary Performance Recognition for his Musical Theater solo in 2019, and nominated for his TTB trio, as well as, acapella group in 2022. He has been accepted five times to the WSMA honors choir and NAFME in the past two years. Ty is a five-year state qualifier for the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs and a three-year award winner in the Hal Leonard National Vocal Competition. He not only sings for school and competitions but shares his joy of music with our church and local nursing homes.
