Grace Hafer

• Semi-finalist in the CS Music Competition (Undergraduate Division)

Grace Hafer is an 18 year old soprano from Palm Harbor, Florida. Starting out singing at 12 years old, she has always had a love for classical music and classic musicals. She would star in smaller productions at the time, but would tend to bring light to the shows she was in with her comedic flair.

Grace has participated in several classes at the Patel Conservatory located at the Straz Center in Tampa. She has been a featured soloist in their Chorale class and Honors Recital. Grace is currently being trained by Melissa Misener of Opera Tampa.

At the age of 16, Grace was hired by Opera Tampa to perform in their Carnevale Gala, making her their youngest soloist. She was then hired to be in their production of Sweeney Todd as a part of the adult chorus in just the same year. Since then, she has been working with Opera Tampa in other performances and gigs. Grace enjoys every opportunity she can get and enjoys taking on challenges that push her to work harder.
