Joseph O’Shea

Joseph O’Shea studies with Dr. Thomas L. Rowell at the University of South Alabama. He is a senior pursuing his Bachelor’s in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance. He has participated with many opera companies since 2016. Among these are Pensacola Opera, Mobile Opera, Janiec Opera Company, and University of South Alabama Opera Theater. He has performed roles such as Belcore in L’elisir d’amore, Marquis D’Obigny in La Traviata, Paris in Roméo et Juliette. He will be performing in the Festival of International Opera as Dandini from La Cenerentola this summer. He also participates with his local community theater when not in school. He wishes to pursue his Masters in Vocal Performance once he done at South Alabama. When not in study with his music, he most enjoys outdoor activities such as flying, hiking, and most of all paintball.
