Yongjae Lee, a South Korean Baritone, received a bachelor's degree in classical voice from Seoul National University (SNU) and a master's degree in Voice Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York. In 2018, he sang 'Antonio' in Opera Scene Le Nozze di Figaro in Act 4, in Sant' Agata Feltria, Alfonsine, also 'Sharpless' in Opera Madama Butterfly Act 3 in Teatro Sociale and sang in the Concert' Future Stelle' soloist, Piazza San Francesco in Ravenna in Classic Lyric Arts program.

In 2019, Mr. Lee won the 1st Prize in 'the 5th New York International Music Competition' and received an 'Edward C. Braunstein, New York Assemblyman Award.' He performed in 'The 5th New York International Music Concours of Winner's Recital' at the 'Bruno Walter Auditorium in Lincoln Center, New York. In addition, he performed the role of 'Betto' in Opera Gianni Schicchi at the Manhattan School of Music in Green Field Hall. After he moved to the University of Arizona, he won the 1st Prize of 'Dr. Larry Day Memorial Voice Competition.'

In 2021, He was a Winner of the President's Competition voice part and got a Distinguished Baritone in the Voice Area Concerto Competition Award for Outstanding Academic and Musical Achievement. In addition, he appeared in the Opera Film as'Leporello,' in Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, and performed the role of 'Grandpa Moss' in the Opera The Tender Land by Aaron Copland in UA Opera Theater presents. He sang 'Peter,' in the Opera Hänsel und Gretel by Engelbert Humperdinck in Chicago Summer Opera.

In 2022, he performed the Role of 'Gianni Schicchi' in the Opera Gianni Schicchi by G. Puccini in Crowder Hall, UA Opera. He is working with the Arizona Opera as 'The Arizona Opera Ambassador performing Artist,' performed 'Arizona Opera's Community Alliances Film Festival, Opera on the Reel' at the Harkins Theatres, Arizona Pavilions 12, and 'Showcasing the talents of the Arizona Opera Ambassadors for the Sun Lakes Italian American Club Holiday.

He has participated in masterclasses with Thomas Hampson, Ian Bostridge, Michael Chioldi, Rolando Panerai, and Susan Graham. He is pursuing a D.M.A in Voice and Opera, major the Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona, Fred Fox School of Music, under Professor Yunah Lee's tutelage.
