Monika Spruch - Soprano
Monika Spruch, an internationally acclaimed soprano, hails from Lodz, Poland, a city renowned for its prestigious film school, alma mater to luminaries such as Roman Polanski and Krzysztof Zanussi. As a young girl, Monika would stand in front of the mirror, singing along with opera recordings, dreaming of performing on the grand stage.
Her dream began to take shape when she joined a choir, performing at various events across Poland. Monika's journey led her to Hollywood, where she expanded her repertoire to include popular songs and produced her own music video, "Radio," in 2010.
In 2016, Monika returned to Poland to perform live at Radio Lodz. Her remarkable talent caught the attention of Mark Governor, the producer of "The Hobbit," who composed the operatic aria "Angel of Death" specifically for her in the production "DUSK."
Currently residing in Carmel, CA, Monika continues to refine her craft under the guidance of vocal coach Robert Edwards, who has worked with stars like Christina Aguilera, Bonnie Raitt, and Sheryl Crow. She also studies voice with the esteemed operatic basso, Louis Lebherz, and Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito, who is her current vocal teacher in San Jose, CA.

In 2019, she competed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition in San Francisco, where her talent was recognized. The same year, she graduated from the "Angels Vocal Art" summer workshop for opera singers at CSULA.
Her commitment to excellence led her to further her studies at prestigious institutions such as Manhattan Opera Studio, Respiro Opera NY, and Belcanto in Tuscany, from which she graduated in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, Monika has been honored with the Certified Artist Award by CS Music from 2021 to the present.
