Internationally acclaimed vocalist and Musical Director, Verdi Baritone, Wayne Line’s list of accomplishments is both vast and impressive. With productions and performances in China, Bulgaria, The Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Austria, Canada and The United States, Line’s "robust" voice has been praised by the likes of Hilary Clark (Opera Canada) as "well-articulated and well-projected, his acting fluid and dramatic”. Just a few of Line’s memorable performances include the Canadian premier of The Ballad of Baby Doe, as Horace Tabor and Opera in the Ozarks where he portrayed Germont in La Traviata, The Natchez Festival of Music where he debuted as Michele in Il Tabarro and more recently Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof. Line’s vocal strengths also earned him esteemed roles in Summer Opera Lyric Theater, Viva Musica in Canada, the Societa dei concerti di Santa Margherita in Italy, South Florida Opera, and Delaware Valley Opera in the United States. Included amongst Line’s Global operatic performances and credits are; Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Peter in Hansel and Gretel, Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore, Gaylord Ravenal in Showboat, Marcello in La Boheme, Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro, and Onegin in Eugene Onegin. He Premeierd the role of D. A. Penny in the world premiere of Shot. Line has recently expanded his talents to include stage directing at Delaware Valley Opera and Nickel City Opera.
