Kianna Kelly-Futch is a 18 year old Vocal Major at Duke Ellington High School of the Arts in Washington, DC. In her Senior Year, she maintains a 4.12 GPA academically while pursuing her talents in the performing arts. Kianna is a triple threat talent who plans to pursue a Bachelors’ Degree in Musical Theater and then attain a Masters in Vocal Performance and Music Education. Kianna is a very experienced performer. She started performing at the age of 5. She has performed at the Kennedy Center with the Washington National Opera Children’s Chorus for 3 years, 4 productions and 36 shows. She recently held leading roles in the Duke Ellington School of the Arts Show Choir production of Amahl & The Night Visitor and Urban Change Productions playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Fiona in Shrek, The Musical. Over the last 12 years she has won numerous titles in pageantry, local and national Modeling and Talent Competitions. She regularly performs throughout the country in school, churches, local concerts and community events. Kianna has traveled to New York with the Show Choir to compete in the Fame Choir Competition and abroad to Austria with the Sophisticated Ladies Choir. This fall, Kianna will attend the Manhattan School of Music in New York, NY to study Musical Theater.
