Haley Fryer is an active member of the music community in Charleston. She has been teaching private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages since 2015. Haley finds great joy in working with young singers to find their confident, healthy singing voice in all styles of music!
Haley finished a Master of Arts in Voice Performance at EIU in 2020 studying with Dr. Rebecca von Kamp. While at EIU, she was honored to sing soprano solos with choir and orchestra in concert works like Vivaldi’s Gloria; to perform as Lily in The Secret Garden and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi; and to be selected as winner of the annual concerto competition twice, singing “Adele’s Laughing Aria” and Bernstein’s comedic showpiece “Glitter and Be Gay” with the Eastern Symphony Orchestra. Locally, she has been seen with the Central Illinois Stage Company as Rapunzel in Into the Woods and Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! and with the Theater in the Park as Jenny in Quilters and the title role in Gilbert & Sullivan's Patience. This summer she can be seen as Liesl von Trapp in The Sound of Music with MIOpera in Bloomington, Illinois and Yvonne in Sunday in the Park with George with Theatre in the Park in Charleston, Illinois.
