Max Makatsaria's passion for singing started in Singapore with the Singapore Lyric Opera (2014-2019). Upon moving to the US, Max was accepted into the GRAMMY® award-winning National Children's Chorus, where he has performed at Carnegie Hall (2022 & 2024), Lincoln Center (2023), La Sagrada Família (2022), Abbey Road Studios (2023), and other prestigious venues around the world. He played Kurt Von Trapp in the West End's international tour of The Sound of Music in Singapore (2017), and was a part of the children's chorus in Evita (2018). He also has played two principal roles at the National Youth Opera Academy (2022 & 2023). In 2023, Max won First Prize in the Charleston International Music Competition.
