Isaiah Raasch is 18 and a Senior at Troy Jr./Sr. High school in Troy Id. Isaiah has always had music around him. His mom teaches private voice and piano lessons and all of his sisters are very musically gifted. He hopes to receive his BM in Vocal Performance and a minor in Theatre Performance. Isaiah has been studying voice for 12 years in many genres including classical, music theatre, and jazz. He is currently studying with Professor Christopher Pfund at the University of Idaho. He recently competed in the Chapter NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). He placed 3rd in the Musical Theatre Category and 2nd in Classical. He then Competed at the regional level of the competition and from there qualified for the National Competition. Isaiah also competed in Solo Ensemble and placed first, qualifying him for the Idaho State Competition. He placed 3rd overall. Isaiah Has also participated in many honors choirs including Idaho All-State Choir (2020,2022) and the National FFA Chorus (2019, 2021). Isaiah's biggest passion is musical theatre. He started his career by playing Kurt Von Trapp in the Sound of Music. From there, Isaiah has been an actor in many musicals and has also directed. His favorite role was playing Jack Kelly in the Broadway Musical: Newsies. Isaiah also loves to play the piano. Isaiah has been studying piano for 13 years.
