Chinese soprano Wen Gu has a warm lyric vocal range. Born and grew up in one of the biggest cities in the world, Shanghai, her life has been engaged with music far long ago. After her college graduation as a Advertising Studies BA in Shanghai, she decided to change the path to be a musician. She got her Master of Music degree in voice at Longy School of Music of Bard College, MA, USA. During the two years at Longy, MA, she has casted several operatic roles such as Lucio Cinna in Lucio Silla by Mozart, La Contessa in Le nozze di Figaro (opera scene) by Mozart and Die Zweit Zofe And Die Zweit Mädchen in Der Zwerg by Zimlimsky. She recently got a second prize of a International competition for Best Debussy performance. Ms. Wen Gu’s powerful enthusiasm for music is always demonstrated by her voice, bringing her audience a touching and tearful experience.
