Bio

Ester Sagripanti was born in Reggio Calabria, and began playing piano at the age of 6. As she progressed, she focused on the study of the piano but she always sang in choirs. She graduated in piano firstly in 2012 and then in 2016. She also sang as a soprano for the choir of the conservatory from 2008 to 2018 under the supervision of Maestro Carlo Palleschi. In the meantime, she obtained a Bachelor degree in International Communications (2012) and a Master's degree in International Relations and Development Cooperation (2015) at the University for Foreigners of Perugia. During the last years of piano studies, she began to study singing with Maestro Monica Colonna and in 2018 she started her singing studies in Fiesole with Maestro Damiana Pinti, who helped her to develop her voice as a soprano for opera. She graduated in singing in June 2022. During her studies in Fiesole, she attended masterclasses with Rolando Panerai, Patrizia Ciofi and Gaiva Bandzinate. Since August 2023 she has periodically attended masterclasses in Oslo with Elizabeth Norberg-Schulz and Matthew Mark Marriott. Since January 2024 she has been studying with Jorge Ansorena.
