Ashley Schlusselberg

Ashley Schlusselberg is a soprano currently enrolled in the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Program as a classical voice major where she studies with Kelly Sawatsky. Ashley began her studies in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York in 2012 and is currently a member of the Chamber Choir. Most recently Ashley was selected to perform at the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society Young Musicians Long Island Regional Competition. Ashley has been a Finalist in the Hal Leonard Musical Theatre Competition (2019), Finalist for Hal Leonard Art Song Competition (2020), and Semi-Finalist for Hal Leonard Musical Theatre Competition (2020). She has had the honor of receiving scholarships from The George London Foundation, the Manhattan School of Music Precollege, Westminster Choir College, and the Nassau Music Educators Association. Ashley has participated in regional and state choirs with American Choral Directors Association, International Choirs with Westminster Choir College, New York All-State and All-County choirs. She has also been named as a best actress nominee in the Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Musical Theatre in 2018, 2019, and 2020 for leading roles in her school musicals. Ashley plans on studying voice performance in college.
