Bio

Breeana Wright, soprano, is enjoying success as a skilled and celebrated artist. She is known for her shimmering voice and sparkling performances. As an emerging young professional she is highly sought after.

During high school, Wright performed in KMEA festivals and was recognized as the top high school soprano in the state of Kansas (2005-2006) scoring highest in sight-reading and performance. She studied Vocal Performance at Wichita State University with Dr. Pina Mozzani, and was offered a singing scholarship to the University of Utah.

Wright has recently expanded her vocal studies and performances into music theatre. Roles include Edith in Pirates of Penzance (2019), Esmerelda (understudy) in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2020), Rapunzel in Into the Woods (2021), and other roles.

As a CCM performer she enjoys not only musical theater but for the past ten years has participated in choral and concert work, as well as being a favorite performer at weddings, funerals, and religious events. In her community’s largest Christmas concert Come to Bethlehem, Wright was a featured soloist for six years (2014-2019). In April 2021, she performed a solo recital which was enthusiastically received by all who attended.

She currently lives in Twin Falls, Idaho where, as a wife and mom raising three young children, she has resumed vocal training with Shawna S. Gottfredson. She looks forward to future engagements which include the role of Cinderella in Warren Marten's The True Story of Cinderella, the soprano solos in a community production of Messiah, and auditions for ongoing productions in her area.
