Bio

Eva Hurt is all about the music.

By day, she may be found playing the chromatic harmonica, singing or teaching music.

By night, wowing audiences with her technical versatility, glamour and musical passion.

Her audiences of all kinds will confirm - Eva is an inspirational musical performer, composer and teacher. Equally at home with composing original music or playing classical compositions, Eva is a spellbinding classical singer who excels in the art of the harmonica, a favoured instrument of musicians from a variety of genres.

Her commitment to music shines through.

Eva’s talents have taken her all over the world, appearing in festivals in the UK and Europe and

winning prizes in eight competitions including the World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen, Germany and the National Harmonica League Competition in Bristol, England.

As a harmonicist Eva plays classical and crossover music while her vocal talents as a lyrical soprano can take in anything from early music to contemporary works.

After graduating from the Karol Szymanowski University of Music in Poland, Eva moved to England to pursue her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Cambridge University.

Now Eva’s dedication and drive sees her drawing on a wide-ranging repertoire of music to perform at recitals, festivals, and private events.

Adept at performing solo or as duo, trio or quartet, Eva likes to add a touch of glamour and sense of humour to her acclaimed musical skills.

Eva is a funding member and artistic director of “Four Seasons” concert series for families in London which runs continuously since 2014.

Enthused by her work as a music teacher, Eva has also published many music tutor books including, "Triola.

Series of tutor books for children. Level 1 and 2’ (published by Seydel Sohne). Her significant musical experience brings a special empathy and connection with musical performers and learners alike.

Eva is enjoying her musical journey through life.

Continuing to inspire through the magic of music, In 2018 Eva released her first studio CD, ‘My First Harmonica Album’,a fabulous collection of harmonica pieces that anyone can listen to.
