Mika Bergonzi

Mika Bergonzi is in the process of completing her junior year at Long Island High School for the Arts in Syosset, New York.

Mika draws from her Japanese and Italian heritage to appreciate the richness, diversity and music of various cultures. Mika has studied and performed Classical and Musical Theatre repertoire since she was 10 years old. Her passion for Opera flourished when she performed in Tosca and Pirates of Penzance with Amore Opera in New York City during high school.

Mika has participated in QSVI at Queens College under the direction of Dr. Overholt where she continues her training with program instructor Jennifer Grimaldi. Mika looks forward to embarking upon college auditions in the fall and plans to pursue a degree in either Musical Theatre or Vocal Performance.
