Madison Kavanaugh is a Mezzo-Soprano studying Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University under the tutelage of Sandra Moon. She has performed with The Turner-Fisher Center for Opera for three seasons. Some of her most notable roles include Madame de la Haltière in Massenet’s Cendrillon (Cover), Madame Armfeldt from Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, and The Third Lady (Cover) in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. While at LSU, Madison has also performed with the Student National Association of Teachers of Singing in a production of Suor Angelica as La Zia Principessa. Outside of LSU she has attended the Sewanee Summer Music Festival’s Operafest! as a studio artist, Music on Site, Inc., and The Collaborative Piano Institute Vocal Academy. Upcoming engagements for Ms. Kavanaugh include the role of Magdalena in a new opera, La Casa de Bernarda Alba by Griffin Candey as well as participating in Dolora Zajick’s Institute for Young Dramatic Voices in July of 2024.
