Jessica Della Pepa is is a classically trained operatic soprano, who in recent years has performed with many local Vermont arts groups, including Unadilla Theater, Echo Valley Community Arts, Stowe Theater Guild, Opera Company of Middlebury, and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Chorus. Her more recent performances include Liù (cover) in Puccini's Turandot with Windham Orchestra, soprano soloist with the Green Mountain Mahler Festival's Beethoven's Ninth “Choral” Symphony. Upcoming performances include Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mrs. Anderssen in A Little Night Music, and Margaret in The Discontented Housewife. When not singing, she likes to to hone her acting skills through Shakespearean works, such as portraying Amiens in As You Like It, Lady MacDuff in Macbeth, the Duchess (Duke) of Venice in The Merchant of Venice.
Jessica is the founder and artistic director of Viva La Musica Vermont, which she formed to introduce Vermonters to the performing arts. She just completed her most recent project, directing and conducting The Gift of the Magi (David Conté), and is presently preparing the double-billing of The Discontented Housewife (Holland) and The Telephone (Menotti), slated to tour this post- COVID-19 (looking at spring 2021)
When not on stage, she teaches music as a licensed PK-12 music teacher, and shares her love of music and theater with her lovely spouse and two young children.
