Robert Dakwar, baritone, born in Staten Island, New York, is currently studying Music Performance at Binghamton University, he has performed in roles including Ottone from Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, the Grandfather Clock / Armchair from Ravel’s The Child and the Enchantments, Father from Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Gianni Schicchi from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. He has also performed roles in concert performances, including Baritone Soloist from Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Dottore Malatesta in BU’s Opera Scenes Program. Robert has performed in masterclasses instructed by Professors Thomas Baresel, Tamara Acosta, Noby Ishida, and Mark Webster. He was also a recipient of the first place honor in his division in the 2023 National Student Auditions in San Diego, CA, as well as the first place honor in the 2023 and 2024 Eastern Regional Student Auditions for the National Association for Teachers of Singing Competition. Robert Dakwar currently studies in the studio of Professor Thomas Goodheart.
