Naomi Cavanaugh

Native to San Francisco, California and raised in Marin County, Naomi is currently

living and studying in Kansas City Missouri. Naomi began singing at a young age in

the Marin County Children’s Chorus which sparked Naomi’s interest in classical

music. Studying with the great Arden Sugarman from Marin County California to

Professor Kerri Shiflett at Johnson County Community College and currently

studying under Kansas City NATS instructor extraordinaire, Michelle Allen

McIntyre. While currently completing her Associate of Arts at Metropolitan

Community College Naomi’s On stage experiences include opera scenes, Susanna from

Le Nozze di Figaro at California State University in 2018, Papagena from Die

Zauberflӧte California State University 2018, Rodelinda from Rodelinda at Johnson

County Community College in 2018 and many more. Productions include Béatrice et

Bénédict (Ensemble) with Landlocked Opera Company in 2019 , Trial By Jury

(Ensemble) with Landlocked Opera Company 2019 and Candide (Ensemble) with

Angels Vocal Art Opera Intensive in 2018. And most recently received 1st place for the

NATS Kansas City Chapter Student Auditions Award -Lower Classical Treble in 2020

and 1st place for the NATS Central Region Student Auditions Award Lower College Classical Treble also in 2020.
