Stephanie Nelson

Stephanie Nelson’s roots in singing began with music theater and an open mind to

classical styles. Her interests led to her study music at Florida Gulf Coast University

where she obtained a Bachelors in Music Education with a Choral emphasis, as well as

a Bachelors in Performance in Voice. During her studies at FGCU she was accepted

into a study abroad program through the university that took her to Szeged, Hungary.

There she performed in two concerts with her fellow students, as well as participated in

daily master classes. As a member of the Chamber Choir, she also went abroad to the

Baltic States to perform with the group. Stephanie was also chosen as a soloist for the

FGCU’s Opera Workshop. Today she continues to be a part of the music community

while teaching private voice lessons and participating in theater productions in the

SWFL area
