Darron Flagg, Tenor, is active leggiero tenor performing extensively in opera and concert settings. Mr. Flagg has been honored to sing with West Edge Opera, Festival Opera, Livermore Opera, San Francisco Opera, Oakland Opera Theater, Island City Opera, Verismo Opera, and Sacramento Opera. Mr. Flagg performed leading tenor roles ranging from standards such as Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni; Alfredo (La Traviata); Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi); and Tamino (Die Zauberflöte); to contemporary roles such as the stratospheric tenor role of Honorable Elijah Muhammed in Anthony Davis The Life and Times of Malcolm X. For concert work, Mr. Flagg has performed Beethoven’s 9th Symphony as tenor soloist at Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Walt Disney. Mr. Flagg has sung with numerous opera companies such as San Francisco Opera, Festival Opera, Oakland Opera Theater, Livermore Valley Opera, Sacramento Opera, and at New York’s famed Lincoln Center.
