Bio

Amélie Robins is a Lyric Colorature Soprano, her "elegant lyrical soprano timbre, her extended ambitus and her natural agility, as well as the physicality of her acting" (resmusica.com) quickly got the attention of Leontina Vaduva and Ruggero Raimondi.

She completed her singing degree with “magna cum laude” in France.

Finalist at the competition Neue Stimme in Luxembourg in 2014, she then won the Armel Opera international competition the same year, earning her the role of Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, in Luxembourg, Romania and Hungary (broadcasted live on ArteWeb). Amélie was also the prize winner of « best and most enchanting interpretation of a french bel canto aria » at the Bellini International Competition in Marseille in 2016, and the winner of a « Golden Medal with High Distinction » and a Digital Album at the Vienna International Competition 2021, and winner of an engagement in Barcelona at the Palau de la Musica Catalana at the Opus Lyrica 2022 international competition (Micaela, Carmen by Bizet).

She currently studies with the international Soprano Annick Massis.

Last seasons, she was Despina in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte at Reims and Massy’s Opera house (France), The Confidante and Overseer in Elektra by Strauss at the Philarmonie of Paris (directed by Mikko Franck, with Nina Stemme and Waltraud Meier). She also sang Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Festival of Saint Céré as well as on Tour in France, Lisa in The Land of Smiles by Lehar at the Grand-Opera of Avignon, the Countesse Ceprano at Choregies of orange (with Leo Nucci, Nadine Sierra and Maestro Alain Gingal), then Gilda in Rigoletto’s Verdi at French Festivals Tour and Massy’s Opera House. Also Eliza in My Fair Lady, Ann Truelove in The Rake’s Progress’s Stravinsky both at the Nice‘s Operahouse, Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld’s Offenbach at Marseille and Reims’s Operas Houses. Ninetta in Prokofiev ‘s The Love of the 3 oranges at National Opera Lorraine-Nancy, Adina in Donizetti’s L’ Elisir d’amore in several theaters around Paris and at Choregies of Orange (French summer Tour) , Marie Salomé and one Archange in Massenet’s La Vierge at Opera St Étienne, Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff (France), Elvira in Rossini’s Italiana in Algeri and Blöndchen in Mozart’s Entführung aus dem Serail both at Opera Marseille, Gabrielle in Offenbach‘s The Parisian life and Anna in The White Lady by Boeildieu both at Nice’s Opera, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro on Tour with Clermont-Auvergne Opera House and Opera of Reims (France), Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera in Bruxelles’s Mozartiades (Belgium), Micaela in Carmen for a French Tour etc.

This season and among her projects:

Micaela in Carmen and Violetta Valéry in Traviata at the Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, Le feu- la Princesse- le Rossignol in Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortilèges at the Opera Grand Avignon and Opera Tour (France). A concert at the Opera Nice (France) and a recording of Otto Klemperer's lost melodies with the international pianist Aurelien Pontier (Warner), as well as Ismene in "Mitridate re di Ponto" and Ilia in Mozart’s “Idomenee” both at the Mozartiades in Brussels.

She often appears on Tv broadcasts produced, like « Musiques en fête » at Orange’s roman Theater.
