Camille Nicholas

Raised in New York City, Camille Nicholas is an aspiring classical soprano committed to developing her vocal technique and artistry. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ms. Nicholas followed her passion for learning languages and experiencing new cultures. She lived abroad in Europe for three years where she gained French, German, Italian, and Spanish language skills. Her competence in these languages range from intermediate to advanced proficiency. Ms. Nicholas uses these skills to enhance her vocal interpretation. During her time abroad, she traveled with friends, visited museums, and sang in church choirs. After completing her degree in Language and Culture Studies in 2018, she relocated to Hawaii where she works full time and takes private voice lessons with Dr. Maya Hoover.

In addition to acquiring fresh perspectives and discovering the different ways people relate to one another, Ms. Nicholas enjoys creating fine art. Her favorite mediums to work with include fused glass and soft pastel. Much of her designs and completed works are inspired by contrasting elements in nature.
