Cynthia Lopez Perez

Soprano Cynthia López-Pérez, is a native of Lawndale, California. Ms. López-Pérez made her debut on the opera stage as Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro) with Ohio State University Lyric and Opera Theatre. Recently, she covered the role of Despina (Cosi fan tutte) with Boston Conservatory Opera, Nannetta (Falstaff) with Martina Arroyo Prelude to Performance and performed her role debut as Blanche (Dialogues des Carmélites) with Boston Conservatory Opera. Ms. López received her bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University where she was the recipient of the Wilson Vocal Award and the Hilary Swank Vocal Scholarship. She has recently completed her graduate studies at The Boston Conservatory, pursuing a degree in Opera Performance under the tutelage of Dr. Rebecca Folsom.
