Mezzo-soprano Hailey Seo was born on October 25, 1996, in Busan, South Korea.
In 2019, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music under the guidance of Professors Matthew Suk and HyeJae Hwang at Pusan National University, receiving two scholarships during her studies.
Afterward, she joined the Pusan Metropolitan Chorus as an alto member but decided to broaden her horizons. In 2021, she came to Germany to pursue her master's degree at the University of Augsburg.
Currently, she continues her studies at the University of Arts Berlin, actively engaging in various musical genres, including competitions, church music, and choral activities, centered around Berlin.
Hailey has an extensive opera repertoire, having performed roles such as Dorabella in
"Cosi fan Tutte," Flora in "La Traviata," Prince Orlofsky in "Die Fledermaus," Page in
"Salome," and Maddalena in "Rigoletto."
Additionally, she has participated in numerous concerts, including serving as the alto soloist in "Dan Forest Requiem" at the PNU Concert Hall. She has performed in concerts organized by various institutions, including Dongnae Cultural Center,
Geumjong Cultural Center, Memorial Hall, and PNU Concert Hall in Pusan.
Since her arrival in Germany, Hailey has continued her musical pursuits, performed the oratorio for the Alto "Widerstehe doch der Sünde, BWV54" in Augsburg and as the alto soloist in "Symphony No.9" in Berlin.
Furthermore, she has completed Masterclasses with Professor Eunju Park and participated in the Pusan International Music Masterclass.
