Syd Braunstein

Syd Braunstein is a recent graduate of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University. Braunstein has participated in various musical theater and opera productions, including as Peitho in Here Be Sirens by Kate Soper, Johanna in Sweeney Todd by Stephen Sondheim, Lady of the Lake in Spamalot by Eric Idle, and Mrs. Walker in Tommy by The Who. Braunstein has also worked as costume assistant, stage manager, assistant director, music director, and vocal coach of various productions. Braunstein plans on studying for a Master's in Education at Vanderbilt's Peabody School of Education and Human and Organizational Development, with a projected graduation of Spring 2025, and then hopes to continue on to graduate school in either Vocal or Opera performance.
