Carmen, 17 is a Junior at Boulder High School

Connie-lin Chmura Nold, is her mom, an Opera Singer, Vocal coach, Composer, Musical Theatre Director.

Carmen spent every summer studying with Mark Tumminelli at Broadway Workshop where she played numerous lead roles in the Mainstage Productions. Her favorite role to date is Matilda in Matilda performed with SCPA in Cincinnati. Last fall she co-directed Matilda at SHJ Musical Theatre in Boulder, CO. A full circle moment!

Carmen studied at NYU in the Pre-College Program last summer, and will be singing in the Penn State Musical Theatre Pre-College Program this summer.

Carmen and Connie-lin direct Musicals for SHJ Musical Theatre in Boulder. This coming year they will be putting on Connie-lin's original Musical "No Place Like Home" for SHJ Musicals and will be workshopping the musical in Denver and Boulder in 2025.

Carmen studies with @thenatalieweiss in NYC and @clcnoldy in Boulder, CO for all genre voice. Musical Theatre is her favorite voice genre. Carmen trains with @therealhenrygraham at Dance2b Studios for all genres dance. Tap and modern are her favorite genres. Carmen studies and performs in Masterclasses in NYC with Broadway Workshop in Acting/TV/Film. Her favorite instructors are Broadway performers @erikahennigsen, @officialsierraboggess and Actress @joysuprano.

Carmen loves to write, play guitar, rollerblade, ice skate, play with her dog Hugo and have fun with friends!
