Kalliopi Koutla was born on May 26, 1990, in Athens. She is a lyric soprano with extensive training and experience in vocal performance. She completed her master’s degree in Solo Singing at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) in 2019, where she studied under the tutelage of Prof. KS Elena Filipova. Previously, she graduated with distinction in vocal studies from the Hellenique Conservatory in Athens in 2012.
Kalliopi has participated in numerous masterclasses with renowned artists, including Kalle Kantilla (2023), Helge Dorsch (2019), Gabriele Lechner (2015), Jeanette Pilou (2014), and Cheryl Studer (2013). Her solo experience is diverse, with performances across Greece and Austria. Her repertoire includes several fully studied roles such as: Pamina in The Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart, Micaela in Carmen by G. Bizet, Mimì in La Bohème by G. Puccini, Liù in Turandot by G. Puccini, Nedda in Pagliacci by R. Leoncavallo, Aufseherin in Elektra by R. Strauss, Marianka in Zehn Mädchen und kein Mann by F. von Suppé, Anna in Der unsterbliche Lump by E. Eysler
She has also been a finalist in various prestigious competitions, including the "Vincero" Competition in Verona, Italy, in December 2023 and Vienna Beethoven Competition, Vienna, in September 2024.
In addition to her solo career, Kalliopi has gained extensive choral experience. She performed as a soprano in W.A. Mozart's "La Clemenza di Tito" during the Mozart Week at the Felsenreitschule in Salzburg in January 2024. She has also participated in major productions like "Carmen" by G. Bizet,” Aida” and "Nabucco" by G. Verdi at the Opera in Steinbruch St. Margarethen.
As of August 2024, Kalliopi Koutla is collaborating with the Wiener Residenz Orchester, where she regularly performs in concerts.
