Jacob Rivera

Jacob Rivera graduated with his Master of Music Degree from Purchase Colleges Conservatory of Music.Jacob will be performing this summer with Miami Music Festival in the Apprentice Artist program in Bizet’s Carmen(El Remendado). This past summer Jacob sang the role of Mozart’s Lucio Silla with Chicago Summer Opera. Jacob participated in the Russian Opera Workshop this past fall studying the role of (Lensky) Eugene Onegin. During the summer of 2018, Jacob sang the role of (Andreas) in The Tales of Hoffman with Opera North. Jacob has performed in Opera scenes with Queens Summer Vocal Institute and Westchester Summer Vocal Institute doing scenes from from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Fidelio, Die LustigenWeiber von Windsor, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Poulenc’s Dialogue of the Carmelites. At Purchase he has sung in Le Nozze di Figaro; The Crucible (Ezekiel Cheever); Amahl and the Night Visitors (Kaspar); L'incoronazione di Poppea (Liberto, Lucano); Don Giovanni (Don Ottavio),Gianni Schicchi (Rinuccio). Dido and Aeneas (The Second Lady/Sorceress).Jacob also participated in Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance Program for three consecutive seasons, performing in the choruses of La Fille du Régiment, La Bohème and Carmen.
