Gabe Short is currently a senior in high school. During his tenure at Elizabethton High School, he has had the opportunity to earn positions four times in the All-East Honor Choir, three times in the All-State Honor Choir, and two years in the All-National Honor Choir with NAfME.

Gabe has also studied under Southern gospel artists, Loren Harris and Jeff Snyder. Gabe has had the privilege to train at Blair Academy for the Arts with instructor, Mason Van Horn.

Gabe enjoys a variety of genres of music, including opera, musical theatre, jazz, swing, and gospel music. Gabe has a rich bass voice that transfers to all types of music. He performs well whether in a group or as an individual.

Gabe serves as the assistant minister of music at his home church. Gabriel also serves in a sister city at a local church providing the worship music.

Gabe looks forward to a college experience that will assist in maturing his voice and God given talent. The layered process of a college experience will allow him to continue his growth for the future.
