Kinley Schollenbarger has wanted to be a performer since the age of 5. She loves to act and sing. Kinley has performed in talent shows singing songs from Taylor Swift, Kelsea Ballerini, No Doubt, James Bay & Katy Perry. She has been in school play performances of Once Upon A Mattress, Annie, Jr., I Never Saw Another Butterfly, Urinetown: The Musical, Graceland and The Giver. In May 2019, Kinley traveled with her high school choir to NYC where they sang at Carnegie Hall under the direction of world-renowned composer John Rutter. While there, she was able to see her very first Broadway production, Mean Girls.
Broadway musicals are Kinley's passion and she plans to one day live in NYC to pursue her dream. The summers before her freshman and sophomore years she was one of 54 high school students chosen from auditions in the state of Oklahoma to attend the Kristin Chenoweth Broadway Boot Camp in Broken Arrow, OK (Kristin's hometown). At these camps, she has learned from Broadway actors, directors, choreographers, and musical directors including Kristin Chenoweth, Faith Prince, Kevin Chamberlain, Michael Orland, Richard Jay-Alexander, Baayork Lee, Lara Teeter, Celeste Simone, Kyle Garvin & John McDaniel to name a few. Kinley had a callback for a chance at her third year of camp before it was canceled due to COVID-19, and she has been chosen for the 2021 KCBBC. She has also had online training from The Broadway Collective and Broadway Artists Alliance.
For the last three years, Kinley has taken voice lessons from Melissa Kamm.
