Heather Hayes

Heather Hayes, a high school junior, is an actor/singer/dancer who grew up in the charming and arts-centered city of Glens Falls, New York. From the first time she stepped on stage as a tiny elementary schooler, she knew that the theater was where she most belonged. Heather spends countless hours chasing after her dreams, thanks to her amazing chauffeurs known as Mom and Dad, and is excited to see where the sweat, laughter, tears, and barrel rolls will take her.

When not spending hours at the barre (dance barre, of course!), Heather can be found singing with her school’s contemporary a cappella group, Vocal Point, playing her viola, or staying up until 3 A.M. making “Frozen” music videos with her theatre friends. She’s had so many great mentors and collaborators along the way - all of whom she loves and appreciates so much - but her favorite stage partner, and confidante, is her amazing sister and best friend, Catherine! Oh, and managing her dog’s Instagram account (@gemmabear_) is a time-consuming job . . .but somebody’s gotta do it, right?!

Heather is extremely passionate about using dance to convey storytelling and thematic material. In fact, she has even been recognized by the Theater Association of New York with awards for choreography! Acting, too! One of her most favorite roles is actually that of “Miss Heather,” dance teacher. She takes great satisfaction in introducing children to the joy of dance. Most of all, Heather is a very kind, fun-loving, and open person. She would love to connect if you are interested in collaborating or learning more!
