Sierra Shoemaker

• 2021 National Association for Teachers of Singing Tristate Competition (1st place Classical)

Sierra Shoemaker is currently finishing her 3rd year at Louisiana State University where she has studied voice with Sandra Moon. At LSU, Sierra has performed in many operas, including Mozart's Cosi fan tutte (Ensemble), Puccini's Gianni Schicchi (Gherardino), and Daron Hagan's "Orson Rehearsed" (Ensemble). She has also been featured as a soloist for LSUOperaFest! in 2021 where she sang the role of Giulietta in Offenbach's "Barcarolle." Sierra is an avid member of the LSU A Cappella Choir and the A Cappella Choir Council. Sierra has been a featured soloist for LSU A Cappella and for the LSU Chamber Singers. In June of 2022, Sierra will be attending the Collaborative Piano Institute in Baton Rouge, LA.
