Hanna Payne

My name is Hanna Payne and I am a junior at Ashwaubenon High School. I tend to experiment with different styles of music to sing, but usually the type of music I sing is either pop, musical theater, or opera. I have been taking voice lessons for three years now, and have been playing piano for almost ten years. For piano I have done many recitals, and have done four competitions in solo and ensemble, getting two firsts and two seconds. I have also competed in solo and ensemble for voice as well for three years, getting seven firsts at the regional level, and four firsts at state and two seconds at state. I have been in different musical productions such as being in the cast of Aladdin and Beauty and Beast, playing Rafiki in The Lion King, a baseball player in Damn Yankees, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. I attended the Green Bay Girls Choir camp for five years, and in my three years of middle school I was in the show choir. I auditioned and got into our high school show choir Encore as well, and we have competed and placed in many different competitions, and I am also co-dance captain for it. Right now I’m starting to write my own songs and music, and am working on publishing my songs on different websites and music outlets.
