Samantha Sosa is a Venezuelan soprano and a rising fourth-year undergraduate student at the Eastman School of Music. She studies with Professor Katherine Ciesinski and is pursuing her BM in Vocal Performance. She has been a 2nd place winner, third place winner, and finalist in multiple international competitions in the past few years years as a classical and musical theater singer. She performs early music with the Eastman Collegium and freelances as a jazz vocalist. Regardless of genre or style, singing is an opportunity and a privilege to share a story and a message to those willing to listen. She will be performing the role of Susanna at Vienna Summer Music Festival in June and the role of Beth Moss at Chicago Summer Opera.
