Brooke has studied extensively with vocal professionals Frances C. Roberts, Steven Tompkins, Alina Tambourini, and Donna Lipari for the past 8 years. She has additionally attended individual masterclasses with the likes of Jennifer Rowley and Constance Fee. Brooke is passionate about the study of music and vocal performance and its relation to emotional expression. Her study of music expands beyond the realm of vocal music, as she has cultivated interests in composing as well as ethnomusicology. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys writing poetry, in which she has earned the title of "Topical Winner" in two editions of the National High School Poetry Contest and Anthology. She loves finding the overlaps between her passions for singing and writing.
