Katie Walsh

• Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award Nominee - Outstanding Leading Performer in a Female-Identifying Role as “Ella” in R&H’s Cinderella - June 2022

Katie Walsh, 17, is currently a senior at Haddonfield Memorial High School in Haddonfield, New Jersey. She has been in the theater since age 9, and plans to pursue Musical Theater in college. She has recently been seen as Ella in R&H's "Cinderella", Éponine in "Les Misérables" and Sally Simpson in "The Who's Tommy". She is excited to be playing Philoclea in her high school's upcoming production of "Head Over Heels". In addition to musical theater, Katie is a member of the a capella group as well as all three choirs at her high school, including the audition-only 'Madrigals'. She is a member of the International Thespian Society and has earned the rank of 'Honor Thespian'. She serves as her school chapter's Secretary. In the summer, she loves interning at a local Youth Theater program.
