Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Mezzo-Soprano Eva Daltoso is a senior at Vancouver School of Arts and Academics. She is active in the theater and choir departments where she has performed many leading roles in mainstage productions, including Princess Winnifred in "Once Upon A Mattress," The Artful Dodger in "Oliver!," Meg Murry in "A Wrinkle in Time" and Puck in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." She is currently the assistant director for Vancouver School of Arts and Academics' production of "Pride and Prejudice." Eva has collaborated with many local organizations including Artists Repertory Theater, Portland Shakespeare Project, and Stumptown Stages. Eva was the 2022 winner of the Vancouver Master Chorale Youth Scholarship and performed as a guest artist with the chorale. Passionate about all kinds of musical storytelling, Eva's special interests include cabaret and golden age repertoire. She is a student of Laura Beckel-Thoreson. Her future plans are to major in classical voice, or musical theater, or both!
