Alexis Delgado

Alexis grew up in Corona, California, starting music at the age of 7 when she began piano lessons. She fell in love with singing at the age of 12 after joining her middle school choir. She continued in choir throughout high school being directed by Karen Garret, former SCVA president. While in high school, she took part in regional and state honor choirs, and placed 2nd in the CNUSD rotary solo competition. Alexis is now attending San Jose State University pursuing a BM in Vocal Performance, studying with Jacque Wilson Scharlach, and was awarded with the Lois King Thore Music Scholarship. While at SJSU, Alexis is involved in both concert choir and Choraliers under the direction of Dr. Jeffery Benson, and opera theater under the direction of Sandra Bengochea.
