Emma Smiler

Emma Smiler is 17 years old and a Junior at Carmel High School in Carmel Indiana. She has performed in many school and community theatre productions. A few of her favorite roles have been Mother Abbess in The Sound Of Music, Cora in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Truman Varsity in Bring It On, and was very excited to play Rapunzel in Into The Woods before it got canceled due to COVID-19. Emma has also attended many musical theatre intensives including Cincinnati Conservatory's Summer Program, Broadway Evolved, Broadway Artist Alliance, and the Broadway Collective. Emma is a member of the competitive show choir the Carmel Ambassadors and takes weekly voice lessons with Julia Scherer and monthly voice lessons with Dr. Peter Thorensen. Emma plans to major with a BFA in Musical Theatre in college and is very thankful for this opportunity!
